- Assisted with Core Lab Duties.
- Both APCT-3 Tools onboard had no calibration files saved. Both to be sent back for Calibration.
- Replaced bearings on Parallel Rock Saw.

Tools #1858035C & #1858032C will be sent back for Calibration.
They lost their saved cal files when batteries were replaced at a previous time, and so we requested updated calibration files from shore to use in the meantime when downloading logged data.
4 x Tools in current return shipment after calibrations.
Made a new VIT bracket attachment for the Niskin bottle, and ran it along with the CTD with every VIT run.
Core Lab
ThermCon
Thermal conductivity had intermitted readings. At first it was thought that the pucks were faulty, but after the instrument was opened we found the ribbon cable not seated properly. Reseated cable and unit worked well.
Splitting Room
Replaced 2 front shaft bearings on the Parallel Rock saw that was making alot of noise. Ordered 4 new ones for spares.
Repaired a stepped off wire at the base of one of the yellow transducer pads, and made the connection more robust.
Replaced multiple blades on the Super saw and Rock saws.
Microscope Lab
Replaced broken Switch PCB on new A2 Scope with new spare.
Focsle Deck
Chem Lab
Serviced small oil less vacuum pump. Unit is in ET shop and a new vacuum guage has been ordered for intallation.
Furnace in chem lab had heating problems, two out of the four elements were tested faulty, we rewired the furnace to work with one element. Four new elements is on order.
Imaging Lab
2 of the specialized fluorescent lamps blew and the electricians replaced them with normal ones for time bieng. New correct bulbes were ordered.
Upper Tween Deck
Assisted with assembly of the Temp incubator hood.
UT Shop
The CNC Probe were striped to see if it could be repaird. One parts inside were broken, so a new one were machined and installed.
The probe is working again, but the part will have to be replaced later on with a more durable one made from metal. (New part made from Brass as seen in the right hand side photo below)
Gym
Replaced Motor Brushes on the small treadmill. Spares ordered.

4 x F40T12/GL50 - Graphiclite 100 D5000 (2 x lights for Imaging Lab with 2 spare).

New right angle cordless Dremel Tool along with extra Carbide cutting tips.
New Tools for ET Shop:
3 x Super Knips & 1 x Round Head Cutter.
