Lab Working Groups

Lab working groups (LWGs) were created to improve JOIDES Resolution shipboard laboratory services. Members of the LWGs typically include external scientists and IODP scientific, technical, and analytical staff, who are experts in the methods used by the specific labs, along with IODP staff who maintain the hardware, software, and supplies needed for the labs. The LWGs typically meet after cruise evaluations have been compiled following the completion of an expedition.
