How to add an expedition metadata template and keywords to images with Adobe Bridge

Open Bridge, in the folder structure to the left select the folder that needs a metadata file. Then, select one or more of the images in that folder (that should be tagged) in the content window in the middle of the Bridge screen.

From the toolbar on top, pick Tools/Create Metadata Template. The template that opens has that expeditions metadata. Change it to what is needed for the new expedition and save it.

To add keywords, use the keyword function in the right section of the Adobe Bridge screen. The keywords are listed in order of expeditions, staff, SIEM, etc. To add a keyword to an image, select the image, and check the checkbox next to the keyword.

Keywords for each image should at a minimum include the following:

1) photographer/credit,
2) people in the image (names),
3) location (e.g. Core Lab, Chemistry Lab, etc.)
