Disassemble and pack Hitachi (pending turbopump servicing, see communication with Marine Reef Intl Linda Dailey) - 8/20/2022
Sandra and Fabricio conduct remote training with Jon Lechich (NanoImages)
If possible, unpack/stage contents for new SEM and mount in Paleoprep Lab - 8/26/2022 staged in Paleo Prep, except for Controller and SEM which are staged on CloseUp station for easy access, also they are heavy - easier to move to/from there
If possible, get new SEM computer set-up on IODP network (requires internet, intranet, all SEM software, TeamViewer) - update 9/7/2022: Esprit Compact software USB stick missing, MCS is installing everything else requested, waiting for Jon Lechich to get back to us via email

Stage materials if not already done
Work on mounting attachment hardware/anti-vibrational mount to existing SEM bench (drilling the bench, drilling holes in steel plate, potentially cutting steel plate)
Set-up new SEM computer on IODP network (requires internet, intranet, all SEM software, TeamViewer)
Set up hardware (using temporary cork mounts if anti-vibrational mount not ready)
Test basic functionality/troubleshooting SEM set-up with Jon Lechich
Test finer functionality of SEM/troubleshooting on fossils, grain mounts and thin sections while thrusters are down and during transit (consulting Jon as necessary)
Set-up anti-vibrational mount if not set-up during Phase 2
Finalize user guides
