The sandboxed environment for Admissions (located at https://apps.cvm.tamu.edu/AdmissionsSandbox), is a place for experimentation and training for reviewers.

Fun Facts

  • You will know you are in the sandboxed environment if this is in the top right portion of the page:

  • A refresh is a copying of all data from the production application.

  • Any changes you make to the sandbox only persist until the next refresh.

  • Any buttons you click or actions you take that would usually send an email will NOT send the email in the sandbox.

  • All permissions are the exact same as the production system.

  • To login, use the same account you use to login to the production system.

  • Previous year applications can only be added to the current year in the sandbox.

Undo any changes to the sandbox

Get latest data from the production system

Send an email to vetmed-appsdev@tamu.edu asking to refresh the Admissions Sandbox.

Max turn-around of 2 days

Copy changes from sandbox to the production system

You will have to manually make such changes in production.
