Applications

There are a couple of ways to view applications in the system. You can view applications by a given year either in a simple table or by what steps each application is in.

View as Table

This page is where you should go if you already know some basic piece of info about the application you’re looking for (e.g. the applicants email).

Page Anatomy

There is a lot here, but we’ll break it down below.

Left

Starting on the left, you see the entry year, a filter input, and the list of steps.

You can click on the year to change what entry year the page will display.

The number next to the step is the number of applications in that step.

You can click on a step to view the applications at that step (denoted by the maroon background on the step Fail to meet course prereqs).

You can use the filter input to filter the steps by information about the applications within a step. As an example, you can search for “John” to find all steps with applications by an applicant named John.

You can filter by:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email

  • TMDSAS Applicant ID (will only find if the entire ID is entered)

  • TMDSAS Application ID (will only find if the entire ID is entered)

Right

Header

The first thing you see is the name of the step you are viewing displayed across the top.

To the right of that, there’s a section with two numbers. The first number is how many applications are in this step. The second number is how many applications are in all following steps.

Application List

The left column of this section contains the applications in the step, which allows you to select an application (by clicking the checkbox next to an application) or to view an application (by clicking anywhere else in the row).

You can click View Cutline or Interviews to go to the their respective pages at the current step.

If you have selected one or more applications (you can select apps across steps btw), you can do one of three things:

  1. Move the apps to a different step by clicking Move

  2. Mark the selected apps' supplemental application fees as Paid or Unpaid by clicking Mark Paid or Mark Unpaid respectively

  3. Export selected app data into a spreadsheet by clicking Export

Application Details

Viewing an application displays the section on the right, that lists out some basic info, and allows you to navigate to the application’s details page (by the View Application button) or to view the applicant’s dashboard (by clicking the View Dashboard button).
