How to onboard a new user

  1. Click the “New User“ button

  2. Search by their UIN or Net ID:

  3. If the user already exists it will look like this:

     

  4. If the user isn’t in the system yet it look like this then click “Next“:

     

  5. Fill out the user’s details if you want them to appear in the directory choose “Yes“ in the “Show In Directory“ dropdown and click “Next“:

     

  6. Choose what email groups the user needs and click “Next“:

     

  7. Choose what security groups the user needs and click “Next“:

  8. Choose what Program Roles the user needs:

     

  9. Choose what directory group the user needs, these are filtered by their department and click “Next“:

     

  10. Make sure everything looks right on the summary page and click submit:
