Niskin water sample curation

  • Water will continue to only be collected when requested by the science party.

  • The water will not be recorded as a sample in LIMS.

  • The water will not be archived at an IODP repository.

  • Niskin sampling should be described along with VIT operations in the Proceedings.

  • If data is generated on the ship from one of these samples, the data can be archived on Data1/Zenodo and should be discussed in the proceedings volume.

 

I will add discussing water samples to the agenda for the next Curation LWG meeting.
